This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Simternet, Inc. d/b/a Shipolog (“Shipolog”) and its affiliates handle personal information we collect, use, and share.

• Marketing Preferences: You can opt out of receiving promotional messages through account settings or unsubscribe links in emails. 

• Do Not Sell My Personal Information: See the section below for your rights regarding the sale of personal data. 

 

6. Do Not Sell My Personal Information 
 We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent commercial purposes.  

In any case, you have the right to opt out of any activity that could be considered a "sale" of your personal information.

• Submit a request: Create a ticket on https://support.shipolog.com choosing Submit a request or incident option and entering "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" in the Summary line. 

• Email Us: Send an email to privacy@shipolog.com with "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" in the subject line. 
 
Upon receiving your request, we will confirm immediately and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. 
 

7. Managing Your Privacy 
• Updating Information: Access and update your personal information through account settings or by contacting our support. 

• Cookies & Tracking: Adjust browser settings to manage cookies or opt out of targeted advertising. 

• Security Measures: We implement commercially reasonable industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including but not limited to encryption and access controls. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security 

 

 

8. Data Retention & Security 
 We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide and improve our Services, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, or resolve disputes,  enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods are determined based on the nature of the data, legal requirements, contractual obligations, and operational necessity.  

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, access control, or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security. As detailed in this Policy you have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements

This California Privacy Policy Addendum ("Addendum") supplements the Privacy Policy of Shipolog ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and applies solely to users who reside in the State of California ("consumers" or "you"). This Addendum is adopted in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and other applicable California privacy laws.

Addendum 2: Your Nevada Privacy Rights 

This Nevada Privacy Policy Addendum ("Addendum") supplements the Privacy Policy of Shipolog ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and applies solely to users who reside in the State of Nevada ("consumers" or "you"). This Addendum is adopted in accordance with the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 603A and other applicable laws governing consumer privacy rights in Nevada. 

1. Collection and Use of Covered Information 

We collect and maintain certain personally identifiable information ("Covered Information") about Nevada consumers in the course of providing our Services. Covered Information may include: 

• First and last name 

• Physical address 

• Email address 

• Telephone number 

• Payment Information 

• Any identifier that allows a consumer to be contacted 

• Any information collected through our website or services that is associated with a consumer’s identity 

We use this information to provide, improve, and secure our services, communicate with you, and fulfill contractual and legal obligations. 

2. Sale of Covered Information 

Under Nevada law, you have the right to request that we not sell your Covered Information. We do not sell Covered Information as defined under NRS 603A.340. However, if our practices change in the future, we will update this Addendum and provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the sale of your Covered Information.
